For over 70 years, JE's position at the forefront in the production of high-performance pistons has been the result of continuous research and development of unique materials, designs and technologies. By using cutting-edge CNC machines for production together with specially designed forgings, JE is able to maintain rigorous specifications on each individual piston and maintain tolerances to millionths of an inch. JE also offers industry-leading processes such as Ultra Crown, a three-dimensional digital crown machining process with piston and finite element analysis (FEA). FEA is an IT process whereby stress and fatigue are tested on a computer model before it goes into production. The JE quality management system is ISO 9000: 2015 certified.

ULTRASERIES

Ultra Series pistons combine JE’s premium features and all-new, industry-first technology into an off-the-shelf piston kit! This includes aligned grain flow technology, a proprietary JE technology that aligns the grain flow in critical areas of the piston to improve strength, and several other high-end features.

JE's revolutionary Perfect Skirt coating is one of the many technologically advanced aspects of the Ultra Series. It protects the piston skirts, reduces friction, while eliminating cold-start piston slap and false knock on computer-controlled engines.

All Ultra Series pistons will come standard with ceramic crown coating to help reject combustion heat for durability and better exhaust scavenging characteristics.

Thicker, premium-material wrist pins are another, strength-boosting feature of the Ultra Series line. Combined with unique Grain Flow Optimized forging technology, the Ultra Series is ready for huge power.

They are specially designed for extreme applications and professional competitions. To support a very high compression ratio, strong mechanical thrusts and the use of high quantities of nitrogen, JE pistons offer superior resistance to the norm, the absence of burrs and the presence of an extremely regular profile
